COVID19 and what we are doing to help.
To our valued customers:
First and foremost, Kingsgate Automotive will remain open for business for the foreseeable future. We will continue to service vehicles as long as it is safe for our staff, the health of their families, and the general population. Safety is our first priority and we want to ensure our valued customers have safe transportation in these uncertain times.
As we navigate this situation, we want to let you know the steps we are taking to ensure everyone's safety.
*If you are showing any symptoms, including coughing, fever, runny nose, headache, or feeling generally under the weather, we ask that you stay home. If you have travelled recently, you must stay home as per Alberta Health Services and the World Health Organization. Please call us to cancel your appointment or arrange for an alternative arrangement to bring your vehicle to the shop.
*Similarly, our staff is following Alberta Health Services guidelines and will not be coming into the shop if they are presenting any symptoms.
*We have removed our coffee/tea station, water station, and candy jar. Surfaces are cleaned and disinfected throughout the day. Surfaces include door handles, the service desk, bathroom faucets and fixtures, the telephone, thermostat, computer and keyboard, and debit/credit machine.
*Our technicians already wash their hands in between vehicles to keep grime away. We will continue this practice with an increased focus on proper hand washing techniques to prevent germ transmission.
*All staff are now wearing gloves, which are changed in between vehicles and customer transactions.
*Lastly, if you have concerns about physically entering the shop, we are happy to accept your keys via our after-hours drop box. We can arrange for payment to be made online or over the phone.
